CTMH Australasian Cardstock Carnival Blog Hop.

Hello and welcome aboard our Cardstock Carnival Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Lauren Moore– then you are in the right place.

If you landed here by accident, no problem, welcome and please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you my artwork which features Close to My Heart’s beautiful Cardstock Colours. Cardstock is such an integral part of my craft room and I love to mix colours.

For this bright page celebrating my youngest son, I started with a black Cardstock base. Next I cut my White Daisy cardstock to 11 x 11 and drew an organic freehand border around the edge to give some definition. Then I began to play with colour.

This page is built from scraps of cardstock which I have sorted into colours, stored close to me so I can reach for them on my craft table.

The squares measure 2.5 x 2.5 and I have also hand drawn a border on them and finished them off with “Tom” cut in White Daisy using the Classic Alphabet Thin Cuts that are in the Core Catalogue. Z3655.

The colours I have featured is Sapphire, Clover and Evergreen.

Our Cardstock carnival is available all through March until the 31st.

You can save big on your favourite cardstock colours with the Cardstock Carnival special! During the month of March, enjoy amazing deals on individual cardstock packs and special bundles, including a brand-new selection of UV-coated cardstock! For more information just click here

This card is using the cute new stamp and thin cut – When it rains. Z4424.

I have paper pieced the umbrella with cardstock as well as her dress and boots. I then covered the umbrella with liquid glass and now it shines like it is wet with rain. I used the grey woodgrain paper from the March April Mix ins Paper Pack – X9038 as the background.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today and I would love you to leave a comment before heading to the next stop with Maz Wood:
